The famous TV show the Crown was offered the royal assent. The Queen of England seems to fall in love with the Netflix drama show which pictures her first years on the throne and her romance with Prince Philip. Her son and daughter-in-law, who made special arrangement to screen the show at Windsor castle , introduced the show to her Majesty giving it a great credits. “Edward and Sophie love The Crown.” A senior royal source reported.
“It has been a longstanding arrangement that they drive to Windsor at the weekend to join the Queen for an informal supper while watching TV or a film. They have a Netflix account and urged her to watch it with them. Happily, she really liked it, although obviously there were some depictions of events that she found too heavily dramatized.” He adds.
The drama portrays the young Elizabeth as the Queen of the Empire after the World War II havoc, and her journey of finding a balance between being a mother, a wife, a sister and a monarch.
The Queen’s granddaughter Princess Eugenie seems also deeply in love with the show. Earlier this month, Eugenie announced at the China Exchange in London: “I did watch a couple of episodes of The Crown. It is filmed beautifully. The music is wonderful, the story is beautiful. You feel very proud to watch it. I can’t speak for everyone but that’s how I felt when I watched it.”
